About Blossom House

Blossom House is a dedicated residential group home providing a safe, nurturing environment for at-risk female youth in St. Lucie County. Founded by Christina Rose, a registered nurse with a passion for psychiatric care and adolescent well-being, Blossom House was created to offer stability, guidance, and support to young girls facing challenges such as neglect, abuse, or homelessness. 

With a mission to empower, heal, and transform, Blossom House provides structured care that includes counseling, life skills training, educational support, and a compassionate community. The home operates with a focus on mental health, personal growth, and future independence, ensuring that every girl who enters its doors has the tools and resources to thrive.

At Blossom House, our vision is to expand our reach and enhance our impact by addressing the growing needs of at-risk and behavioral children in our community.

MEET OUR TEAM

Christina RoseFounder & Executive Director, Blossom House
Christina Rose is a registered nurse and the visionary leader behind Blossom House, a group home dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for at-risk female youth. With a strong background in psychiatric nursing and crisis care, Christina has always been passionate about working with adolescents, finding deep fulfillment in helping them navigate challenges and regain stability.
Her journey into group home leadership stemmed from a desire to offer more than just temporary care—she wanted to create a lasting impact in the lives of young girls facing adversity. Through compassion, dedication, and hands-on leadership, Christina has built Blossom House into a thriving, licensed facility, ensuring that every resident receives the support, guidance, and resources needed to heal and grow.
Christina aspires to expand Blossom House and open more group homes to meet the growing needs of children with behavioral challenges. She remains committed to advocating for expanded services, mental health resources, and community-based support, believing that every child deserves stability, love, and the opportunity to succeed.
Andrea SmikleProgram Coordinator, Blossom House
Andrea Smikle is the driving force behind the daily operations at Blossom House, since 2013, bringing 12 years of experience from her role as Enrollment Director for a local school to her work with at-risk youth. With a strong presence and natural ability to connect, Andrea has built deep, meaningful bonds with the residents, providing them with the structure, support, and encouragement they need to thrive.
Her hands-on approach ensures that every aspect of the program runs smoothly, while her keen attention to detail helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-organized environment. Whether it’s coordinating care plans, overseeing schedules, or ensuring compliance with program standards, Andrea is always proactive and meticulous in her efforts.
Known for her prompt responses and exceptional organizational skills, Andrea keeps everything running efficiently, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence within Blossom House. Her dedication and commitment to the well-being of each resident make her an indispensable leader, ensuring that every girl receives the guidance and support needed to build a brighter future.
